Theme: “” – to be announced during the contest proper.


Objective: Develop a working website based on the Theme provided above.

Mechanics

1. The Event Administrators, technical committee and judges, should be in the venue sixty (60) minutes ahead of the event schedule.

2. Event materials (images, video, raw text), supplies, tools, equipment and other things needed for the venue will be made ready by the Event Administrator sixty (60) minutes before the event schedule. Participants may bring their own extension cord.

3. Contestant will bring his/her own laptop computer. Checking of laptop that will be used in the event will start sixty (60) minutes before the event starts. This will be done by the Event administrator and respective coach of the participating school. Remember that the laptop must be newly formatted to ensure that no html files and images are stored on it. Make sure also that all the needed software are installed properly to avoid delay of starting the event.

4. All participants should be at the designated venue thirty (30) minutes before the event starts. Late participants without valid reasons shall be disqualified.

5. A contestant will be given assigned place based on the numbering set on the registration. Contestant must proceed to his/her laptop and setup their food and materials. Setting up of their extension cords, equipment, and tools should be done during this time.

6. Each participating school is allowed with one contestant registered an hour before the event.

7. The contestant must be a registered 23rd IT Congress particpant endorse by Coach/Adviser.

8. The use of Internet is NOT allowed during the contest.

9. The contestant can use Photoshop, Fireworks, Brackets, Sublime, Textpad, Notepad or Notepad++, or any web text editor application.

10. The contest duration is 3 1/2 hours.

11. Front end frameworks and ready made scripts are not allowed.

12. The contest organizers have the right to disqualify the participants in the event of cheating or found having ready-made scripts.

13. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

14. Each contestants will save a screen shot of the full page image of the Front Page and a subpage in .PNG format.

15. Disable/remove Screensaver Password Setting in your Laptop. Provide also the Root Password.

16. PSITS reserves the right to create, revoke, or modify at any time, in any way its entry requirements, rules and mechanics at its absolute discretion without prior notice, but this be discussed during the orientation. Submitted entries shall be bound by any amendments or addition to the entry requirements, rules and regulations.
